Giles Lewis BSc(Hons), MSc, MRICS, MFPWS Chartered Surveyor/Director

In addition to full membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Giles is also a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (FPWS). The objective of the Faculty is to promote the highest standards of professional practice in the field of Party Wall Surveying. With almost 30 years industry experience, Giles initially began his career in the public sector, as a Building Control Surveyor. Giles has held senior positions held during his career prior to creating Giles Lewis & Co and until recently, he held a director’s position in a Chartered Surveying and Project Management Practice. This company specialised in Landlord and Tenant services that included all surveying disciplines associated with the delivery of major cyclical maintenance works (Section 20 – Landlord and Tenant Act 1985) to flat developments with projects that ranged from converted terraced properties to purpose-built blocks of flats of varying sizes up to 150 units.

The type of services carried out for clients included Party Wall Matters, Licence to Alter/Freeholder Consents, Condition Surveys, Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes, preparation of Schedules and Specifications of Work, Contract Administration duties, Site Supervision and Reinstatement Cost Assessments. Over the years, Giles has gained a wealth of practical experience in Surveying and Property services and this enables him to ensure a wide range of skill in both professional and project work. Our Fees

Our competitive fee structure is clearly explained to clients prior to proceeding with a project. We aim to fix an agreed fee in advance of any services commencing. This will ensure transparency and no additional cost.

For the time being Giles Lewis & Co trade below the VAT threshold enabling a 20% saving to our clients.
